After discovering an error with Apple's 2015 high-end smartphone, Apple will replace the battery in the iPhone 6S for free.
The company launched a free repair program for iPhone 6S smartphones, which was manufactured from September to October 2015.
Apple said in a support document released Sunday: "Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6s devices can close unexpectedly.
"If iPhone 6 has been damaged, such as a broken screen, which prevents the battery from being replaced, it will have to be solved before the battery life, and in some cases there may be a cost associated with repair."
You should go to the Apple Store or an authorized service center to check if your iPhone 6S is eligible for free repair. Other Mobile phone network shops are not part of the this service program.
Apple also offers a reimbursement for those who have paid to replace the batteries.
The smartphone manufacturer has launched a repair program for touch disease that affects the iPhone 6 Plus, which began as a thin gray line on the screen and ultimately made the phone's touchscreen unworkable.
Apple claims 146.44 pounds for affected devices with unbroken screen glass to repair touch screen problems.
